Art work at Troy Fest
The clay frames that our students created during the Art in the Classroom workshop back in November is being displayed at the Johnson Center during Troy Fest. If you get a chance, go by and see it. They did a super job!!!

We are having a pizza party for lunch on Thursday. Students need to bring in $3 by Wednesday if they wish to participate. Students are responsible for their own drink.
Students need to bring in $2 by Wednesday for the Powder Puff game on Thursday. (All money goes to Relay for Life) Students may also bring a towel, hat, sunglasses, water or gatorade if they wish. Due to softball and baseball playoffs, powder puff has been postponed. You can still send in your money.
PLAS is participating in "Clean Green Week". 5th grade is responsible for collecting aluminum. Please begin collecting and help us save the Earth!!

Field Trip
The fifth grade will be attending the Emerging Leadership Day at Troy University on Friday. We need to leave school at 8:40 and I will need drivers to take us and drop us off. If you are available and willing to drive, please let me know. Also, you will need to arrange to have your child picked up from the Troy University student center at 12:30. Since school is dismissing at 12, we will not return to campus. I am sending a note with more information home in folders today.
If you have not returned your signed report card, please get it to me ASAP. The were due last Friday.

at Zaxby's! Come out and help us raise money for Pike Liberal Arts
School just by eating delicious Zaxby's chicken! 10% of total sales during fundraiser night will be donated to the school. We hope to see you there!!
