It looks as though we have enough interest in the Huntsville trip to get the extra bus and that means that all parents who would like to go should be able to.  I have gotten the deposit from most all students.  If you have not paid for your child, please do as soon as possible as it was due Friday.  Also,  I need to get a $10 deposit from all parents who want to go so that I can go ahead and reserve the bus.  If you could go ahead and get this to me, I would certainly appreciate it. :-)

Don't forget that next Friday (3/6) is the Frozen trip.

Thursday 2/26 is the State Science Fair and PLAS has 7 students who will be participating. :-)  If you are one of the participants, please let me know if you have a ride.  I have also sent home information about times and a map of Huntingdon College. You DO need to bring a table.

Tuesday, February 17, 2015

Kacie's mom will be bringing pizza and cupcakes for lunch on Thursday for her birthday. You are responsible for your own drink.

I will be at the science fair tomorrow (Wednesday) and Mrs. Arrington will be my sub.

Reminder that the money for the McWane field trip is due today.  If you haven't turned in, you can send on Thursday since I will be out tomorrow.

The $10 deposit for the Huntsville trip is due by Friday.  We have had a tremendous response to the trip so far and I am hoping to have enough to get a third bus.  If you are interested in chaperoning and have not told me, please let me know as soon as you can.  If we don't have enough participation to get another bus, then we will have to limit the number of chaperones and I don't want to have to do that :-)

We will have 4H on Thursday.  I did not have anyone who wanted to participate in the Public speaking contest.  If your child is interested, please let me know!  I'd love to have a participant.  The contest is Feb 24

Also, at this point, I do not know how many chaperone spots we will have.  If you are interested, please send me a note or email (nferraro@pikelib.com) and let me know.  If we have enough, there is a possibility of opening an additional bus.

The Huntsville trip to the Space and Rocket Center is in the process of being finalized.  I am waiting on confirmation of a date. I will hopefully know later today. We will take a charter bus and so this will be a more expensive trip (probably around $70 ish per person) if you want to start saving a little :-)
